There’s a quote, often attributed to Mark Twain,

If it’s your job to eat a frog, it’s best to do it first thing in the morning. And If it’s your job to eat two frogs, it’s best to eat the biggest one first.

Your “frog” is the days worst task, the ONE thing you have to do but don’t want to do. The idea is if you get that out of the way first, your day can only get better. No matter what, you’ve at least eaten that stupid frog you were supposed to eat. Today’s Stoner Mom’s tip is to learn to “eat the frog”. People gain confidence when they knock that first task out first thing in the morning and more often then not the satisfaction of crossing out a task motivates one to work on the next task.

So stoner moms, what’s your frog? Grocery shopping, laundry, plodding through piano lessons? Whatever your personal frog is in your mothering life, try tackling it first and see how that effects you for the day. Then when you find yourself pulling your hair out at 4pm you’ll feel a little less guilty for lighting up that bong.

The Stoner Mom is a pulled-together, WAHM, SAHM, boo-boo kissing supermom. Most would assume she is not stoned. Most would be quite wrong.
