CBD for Beauty

Mark my words, CBD for beauty and skin care is soon to become prevalent in the beauty world, and it’s certain you’ll be seeing more of it in health and beauty products in the future. There has been a lot of recent and interesting research connecting CBD with anti-aging properties and effective acne treatment, so I was really excited to try Imbue Botanicals’ line of skin care to see how it might work for me.

First, my favorite product by Imbue is their lip balm. The strawberry taste is amazing, and the balm leaves my lips silky soft and moisturized, without feeling sticky or greasy. I use the balm daily, but I see the most improvement when I put it on my lips before bed.

Next on my list of favorites, is the luxurious CBD rich facial cream. Thick and deeply moisturizing, this product does wonders overnight and makes my face look more youthful and radiant. I’ve been using very small amounts at night at the end of my skin care routine and my skin feels tighter and pores smaller when I wake up in the morning. It also reduces scarring, redness and inflammation.

Imbue’s eye cream is also phenomenal. I use this very sparingly to reduce under-eye puffiness before I apply makeup, as well as at night for intensive healing. I feel like it’s helping to fill out those under eye lines I get from squinting while stoned, and it definitely helps with puffiness and bags under the eye. This is a product I plan on using for a long time.

CBD Topicals for Pain and Wellness

In my house, we are all big fans of CBD salves for pain, soreness, and muscle tightness. Imbue’s 200mg topical salve is excellent for stopping pain, be it the beginnings of a massive tension headache, pulled back muscles, or growing pains on our kid’s long legs. I firmly believe every house should have a CBD salve of some sort on hand. It works as well as Icy Hot or Ben Gay, without the offensive odor. We use this thick salve for localized pain and it works really well.

I use Imbue’s 200mg lotion for daily moisturizing, and I love how quickly this non-greasy formula absorbs into my skin. Use this lotion fresh from the shower and you’ll have a day of pain relief, increased cell turnover, reduced redness and inflammation, and hydrated skin.
