Hi friends! Today I’m reviewing Kana Planet, a CBD company offering the usual topicals and tinctures,  as well as CBD infused candles! Kana Planet’s handcrafted soy candles come in a variety of fragrant scents perfect for setting a calm and atmospheric tone in the home. Kana Planet also has a unique CBD + Delta 8 THC tincture, an interesting combo that had me feeling fantastic and deeply relaxed.

CBD Aromatic Candles

Pumpkin Chai 500 mg CBD Candle

Kana Planet has a whole line of handcrafted soy candles infused with CBD to help promote a fragrant and relaxing experience. Perfect for lighting during a sesh, or just for setting the mood around the house. I love Kana Planet’s  Pumpkin Chai candle, an obvious favorite for this time of year. It is infused with 500 mg of CBD and is a blend of pumpkin and chai with notes of orange peel, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg. It’s the perfect complement to any fall night!

This is a big double wick candle that burns for 35 to 55 hours. I have been welcoming the upcoming change of seasons by lighting the Pumpkin Chai candle in the kitchen after dinner, and it makes my entire main floor smell amazing!

Sea Salt and Orchid 400 mg CBD Candle and Honeysuckle Jasmine 400 mg CBD Candle

Kana Planet’s other candles are equally fragrant and are appropriate for lightening the mood in any room. The Sea Salt and Orchid handcrafted soy candle is my favorite and is a great fit for the bedroom. The aromas of these candles are very strong, so keep that in mind if you are sensitive to heavy fragrances. But don’t be misled by the addition of CBD; none of these candles smell anything like hemp or cannabis. In fact, these candles make a fantastic addition to any smoke sesh! Having one on hand is great for lighting a hemp wick, and can even help to mask odors while you sesh.

I have read some articles claiming that burning CBD candles can make people feel calm and relaxed. I definitely cannot attest to that, in fact, I don’t feel any difference when burning one of these. I do, however, love the calming effects of lighting candles in general, and these are no different.

Bottom line, if you love both candles and CBD, there’s no harm in trying one of Kana Planet’s infused candles. These are definitely a must-try for the candle lover, and they make a great gift.

3000 mg Cool Relief Roll-on

One of my favorite topicals that I’ve reviewed this year! Kana Planet’s 3000 mg Cool Relief roll-on CBD serves a potent dose of CBD for all of your topical needs. The roll-on feature is convenient for precise application, and works really well for muscle relaxation and relieving pain. This is a great product to have on hand for intense cooling and relief, without the heavy scents of traditional topical pain relievers.

The Cool Relief Roll-on contains grape seed oil, peppermint oil, and 3000 mg of broad-spectrum CBD. That is a very strong formula for a CBD topical, and I can definitely notice the difference. Perfect for using on sore joints and tight muscles. The Cool Relief Roll-on is also available in a 1000 mg formulation for less cost.

Broad Spectrum 3000 mg Tincture

Kana Planet’s broad spectrum CBD oil is a simple formula with 3000 mg of broad-spectrum CBD in organic MCT oil. Broad-spectrum means that the oil contains small amounts of beneficial cannabinoids in addition to CBD, but contains no THC. Broad-spectrum CBD oils can be more effective than isolate-based formulas since cannabinoids tend to work more effectively when together. This tincture is fantastic and is one of my favorite unflavored oils. The oil itself is light-colored with a thin consistency and has absolutely no hint of any hemp taste or bitterness. The 3000 mg formula works out to about 100 mg of CBD per dropper, perfect for regular CBD users. It is also available in a 1500 mg formulation.

Broad Spectrum CBD + ∆8 Tincture

Kana Planet’s Broad Spectrum CBD + Delta 8 THC Oil combines two popular hemp-derived cannabinoids into one tincture. It contains 1500 mg of CBD and 500 mg of delta 8 THC. I really enjoy this blend but I definitely find it to be psychoactive. Delta 8 has different effects on everyone and can be mild to very psychoactive, so use caution when trying for the first time!

My experiences with delta 8 have varied widely across the different products that I have tried. Ingesting it in the form of edibles has the least effect on me, vaping has a mellow and calming effect, and taking sublingually in the form of tinctures has the strongest effect. Again, this is just my personal experience.

Kana Planet’s CBD and delta 8 tincture gives me a rush of a high around 15 minutes after taking sublingually. I feel energetic, observant, and extremely talkative for around twenty additional minutes, and then a mellower experience takes over. After the initial psychoactive high fades, I feel relaxed and calm. It’s a great state of mind for the evening when I’m home for the night, though it does seem to give me a bit of the munchies!

This is a higher-priced product with a noticeable effect on me, so I recommend this to those who have already established that they enjoy delta 8. If you’re one of those people, definitely consider this blend of delta 8 and CBD!
