Medterra CBD

Medterra remains one of my favorite brands for top-of-the-line, third-party tested CBD products. I’ve been recommending them for years, ever since I used their tinctures to help me ease off prescription medications as detailed in this post. Today Medterra is a widely available brand found in drugstores like Walgreens and grocery stores across the country. With a large catalog of products with a range of formulations and effects, Medterra holds firm as top recommendation for all CBD needs.

It’s been a few years since my original Medterra review, and since then they have expanded their offerings from THC-free products to overall wellness formulations and full-spectrum CBD. In this post, I’m adding to that first review by talking about Medterra’s newer full-spectrum line, which includes my favorite daily tincture.

Medterra’s Full Spectrum CBD Line

Our True Full Spectrum Tinctures contain all of the cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids present in the hemp plant – including THC – at a 5:1 ratio of CBD to other beneficial hemp compounds.  Early studies have shown that the various hemp compounds work together through what is known as the entourage effect – an interaction that improves their effects on the body and creates a deeper, richer CBD experience. – medterracbd.com

Medterra’s original line featured products made from CBD isolate and containing zero THC. Now they’ve expanded to broad-spectrum and full-spectrum products of every kind. This makes Medterra stand out as a reliable source of CBD for all types of customers.

Isolate, Broad Spectrum, and Full Spectrum CBD

CBD products come in a few different spectrums for consumers to choose the cannabinoids they are comfortable with. Isolate-only products contain CBD only, and none of the other cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. Broad-spectrum products contain CBD plus some minor cannabinoids found in the hemp plant like CBG, and CBN, but no THC. Full-spectrum products contain CBD, minor cannabinoids, and legal amounts of THC as found in the hemp plant.

There is a general understanding that CBD products tend to work more effectively when paired with the other cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. This is referred to as the entourage effect. I myself prefer a full spectrum product because I like to have the full range of cannabinoids interacting with my endocannabinoid system.

Some consumers prefer an isolate-only CBD formula because they undergo drug testing for work. Others prefer a broad-spectrum product for benefitting from the entourage effect without any risk of THC in their system. Whatever your preference, Medterra has an effective product for you.

True Full Spectrum CBD Drops

Medterra’s 3000 mg formulation full spectrum  tincture has been my favorite daily-use CBD supplement for a few months now. For a CBD tincture, this one really checks all the boxes for me. Powerful and effective, I love a higher-dose, full-spectrum oil that uses whole-plant cannabinoids for greater beneficial effects. This one contains 100mg of CBD, 2mg THC, and 18mg of other minor cannabinoids, in one dose.

I have long appreciated Medterra’s approach to flavoring. From their flavorless original CBD oil to the flavorful oil in this post, Medterra really gets the importance of a pleasant tasting product. The Citrus flavored CBD oil tastes so good, better than literally every tincture I have tried. A tiny bit of Stevia extract makes a huge difference and sets this formula leagues ahead of it’s competitors. If the rather “unique” taste of CBD oil has been holding you back from really using it, consider trying this one. Medterra’s True Full Spectrum CBD oil is the sweetest tincture I have tried, and I love it.

Medterra’s Full Spectrum oil drops come in 750, 1500, and 3000mg strengths, as well as two flavors, citrus or chocolate mint. The chocolate mint is just as flavorful as the citrus blend, and tastes great in the morning when paired with some hot coffee.

Medterra’s True Full Spectrum line also includes gummies and capsules. Both methods are fantastic for convenient and consistent dosing on the go.

True Full Spectrum CBD from Medterra

Medterra’s expanded catalog means there is even more to love from this brand. With isolate, broad-spectrum, and full spectrum products, Medterra has something for every level of CBD comfort. I recommend Medterra whether youre looking to achieve deep relief, overall wellness, or daily support. I have used Medterra consistently over the years because of their high-quality and thoughtful product line, as well as their transparent business practices and rigorous third-party lab testing.

I have written a lot about Medterra over the years! Check out more of my thoughts on their original CBD products in my review here, and learn more about Medterra and shop at medterracbd.com.
