Meet Puffco’s Newest Vaporizer, the Proxy!
Hello stoners and cannabis affeciandos! In this post, I review the Proxy, the newest concentrate vaporizer from the innovators at Puffco. The Proxy’s unique design centers around a base vaporizer that works with an array of accessories and glass for further functionality. Equipped right out-of-the-box with a sleek sherlock-style pipe, the Proxy fits beautifully in the hands, heats quickly, and produces high-quality vapor with Puffco’s 3D heating chamber.
The Proxy packs quite a punch! Read on to learn more and to learn my thoughts on this sleek device with lots of possibilities.

Puffco Proxy Review
The innovators at Puffco have really expanded their selections since the days of the original Peak. The Proxy is their newest device, a compact and portable vaporizer for solid concentrates that features unique 3D heating, an elegant sherlock-style pipe, and a modular base compatible with Puffco accessories for added functionality.
The Proxy Base | a modular vape system for concentrates
The Proxy consists of a rubberized silicone base and a glass pipe. The Base is the heart of the Proxy and houses the 3D Chamber and battery. This base easily slides into the accompanying pipe, but it can also be used with Puffco’s Bub for water filtration, as well other customizations that may come out in the future.
3D Chamber | side-wall vaporization for preserving vapor quality
Proxy’s 3D Chamber technology vaporizers concentrate on the side walls instead of the bottom of the chamber. It vaporizes only while inhaling, preserving the quality of the oil and leading to great-tasting dabs. Hits are smooth and consistent, with great flavor. I find myself coughing less with the Proxy even when it’s pulling big clouds.
The 3D Chamber is made with glazed ceramic for easy clean-up. I wipe mine out with a cotton swab every few hits, and the glazed ceramic looks as good as new each time. And I love that the bottom of the chamber doesn’t look charred like most of my other e-rigs and wax pens.
Glass Pipe | an elegant upgrade from the wax pen
Stylistically a step up from your standard wax pen! The Proxy comes with a gorgeous smoke-grey borosilicate glass pipe, which has been given a medical-grade certification. This elegant Sherlock-style pipe cradles the Proxy and fits comfortably and naturally in the hands. This is a dry pipe, with a hit similar to a concentrate pen, but with a pipe’s look and feel.
The Proxy Performance | battery, temperature, and speed
I’ve been quite satisfied with my Proxy’s performance. It charges quickly in less than two hours, with the battery lasting for around 15 sessions.
Puffco’s Proxy has four heat settings. Blue is the lowest temperature, offering the most flavor, the gentlest hit, and the lowest vapor production. White is its peak setting, with the highest vapor production and biggest dabs. I like to use the red and white settings the most so that I get a lot of vapor for quick results.
The Proxy reaches temperature in around 30 seconds, with sessions lasting 45 seconds. Boost mode extends your session an additional 10 seconds.
Accessories | turn your Proxy into a multitasker
Puffco’s Proxy Flower Bowl turns your Proxy’s pipe into a standard smokable pipe for easy switching between combusting cannabis and vaporizing concentrates. There is also a durable Travel Pack for protecting your Proxy on the road.
Proxy’s modular design opens it up to other uses outside of the pipe. Just like with the popular Puffco Peak, aftermarket glass sellers make bubblers, attachments, and accessories specially designed for use with the Proxy.

Final Thoughts on The Proxy
I really love the Proxy! Its low profile makes it a discreet choice for daytime use at home, perfect as my at-desk concentrate vaporizer. The 3D Chamber makes a noticeable positive difference in both flavor and ease of upkeep. The Proxy is an excellent vaporizer for fast and efficient concentrate use. Its ability to be used with accompanying accessories for more uses and a custom look is another big plus.
