Meet the RIO | Stache Rig-in-One Review

Hi friends! Today I’m reviewing the RIO by Stache, a highly recommended all-in-one dab rig that has totally won my heart over all my other dabbing setups in the two months that I have had it. The RIO, or “rig-in-one” is perfect for any dabbing occasion, whether they be quick and fast dabs, a long session with friends, or for taking securely on the go.

RIO all-in-one Dab Rig

At heart, the RIO is simply a traditional dabbing setup that includes a dab rig, banger, and torch. Setting it apart is its unique, colorful base that keeps everything together as one unit, so your torch remains in the perfect spot just underneath the banger. The rig itself rests in a silicone sleeve that in turn fits snugly into the base.

This thoughtful design keeps the essential components of dabbing all together, streamlining the entire process. The hands-free torch placement means an end to the days of holding the torch trigger on your own. It also takes the guesswork out of heating the banger and allows for fast and consistent dabs each time.

What I Love About The RIO

Reliability

With the myriad of different electronic dabbing options out there, it is refreshing to go back to a simple setup like the RIO. With the RIO, all you need is butane. Unlike electronic dab rigs, there are no coils to replace, atomizers to fail, or batteries to forget to charge. As long as there’s butane in the torch your rig is going to work.

Design and Ease of Use

The RIO’s simple design removes a lot of the guesswork out of dabbing with a torch. It is a cold start rig, meaning it is meant to be used by adding concentrate to the banger first and then heating the banger for around 12-20 seconds. Once the concentrate is bubbling it’s ready to go!

Each component is beautifully crafted and obviously durable. The quartz banger heats up fast and retains that heat. It’s also quite big, with a lot of surface area to work with so you’re not struggling to get your sticky concentrate into a tiny space. The torch is also a nice one, easy to use, and features an overflow valve. Even the carb cap is impressive, with a unique shape that really helps to get all of the concentrate vaporized during dabbing.

Final Thoughts

I can’t say it enough. I love the RIO. It’s simple yet smart, all-inclusive, and easy to use and maintain. Its hands-free approach is so convenient and takes the pain and guesswork out of dabbing, perfect for beginners and experts alike. This is a fantastic setup for anyone who loves doing dabs, anyone who prefers a traditional setup versus electronic, and for those new to dabbing who want to pick up everything in one well-priced package.
