CBD Products I’ve Tried

3000 mg CBD Oil

Tommy Chong’s full-spectrum CBD oil drops contain nanoemulsified CBD and cold-pressed hemp seed oil. As a hemp enthusiast, I am a huge fan of CBD blends that also include hemp seed oil. The oil itself is a lovely light yellow, with a clear consistency. The 3000 mg bottle is their strongest formula and works out to about 100 mg per serving.

I like the way this oil performs, but I will say, for something that says peppermint drops, I tasted zero peppermint in this tincture. That might be welcome for those who aren’t fans of mint, but I like my tinctures to be well flavored as I’ve never liked the taste of CBD oil. This tastes very much like an unflavored CBD oil, but it is very smooth and doesn’t have any lingering bitterness.

Nice Dreams Tincture

Perhaps Tommy Chong’s most unique CBD product is their morning and evening tinctures. The Good Vibes daytime tincture has Taurine and B6 for energy, while the Nice Dream’s tincture features Melatonin, Cordyceps Sinensis, and GABA for restorative sleep. Both tinctures contain a very small 3.33 mg of CBD per serving, definitely not enough for my daily CBD dose. I think these formulas work best in tandem with a regular CBD practice. I take about 200 mg of CBD in my daily wellness routine, so for me, these low-dose formulations work best for supporting an already established CBD routine.

I tried the Nice Dreams tincture which boasts, “sleep easy and wake refreshed” and it performed very well. That said, It has an extremely strong flavor that is difficult to describe but is, without doubt, the sweetest and strongest-tasting tincture I’ve ever tried. Honestly, the flavor of this blend was so strong I had to chase it with water. There is sucralose and stevia in this formula which probably explains the sweetness. If you’re not a fan of heavily flavored tinctures, skip on this one.

CBD Sour Gummies

My favorite Tommy Chong CBD product! These gummies contain 25 mg of CBD per bear and are a delicious way to get your daily dose of nanoemulsified CBD. These are fast-acting and tasty, coming in a variety of fruit flavors like pineapple and cherry. The texture and consistency of these are quite pleasant. They are firm and chewy, not sticky, and are covered in a nice amount of sugar. There is a very small amount of hemp aftertaste with these gummies, but no worse than other brands and better than many.
