Origins of Hemp and Extraction Method
Big Sky Botanicals CBD comes from hemp grown in Colorado, USA. It is made with Co2 and ethanol extraction methods.
Our products begin with organically grown non-GMO Colorado hemp. The all-female crop is processed using CO2 and ethanol extraction methods to create solvent-free CBD-rich extracts. Advanced filtering methods then strip away all THC, resulting in a lab-verified broad spectrum profile – rich in cannabinoids and terpenes.

Big Sky Botanicals Products I’ve Tried
CBD Tinctures
1500 mg CBD Tincture
A fantastic traditional CBD tincture, highly recommended! I am thoroughly impressed with Big Sky’s tasty 1500 mg tincture. With a natural orange flavor and 50 mg per serving, this is an excellent formula for daily use. Big Sky Botanicals CBD tincture contains a phytocannabinoid-rich hemp extract that is blended with high-quality carrier oils for fast and effective absorption. This formula is free of THC but contains plenty of naturally occurring terpenes, great for users looking for the entourage effect without THC.
250 mg CBD Hydro Tincture
Big Sky’s nanoemulsified tincture uses their unique process (read about it here) to make a water-soluble tincture with a higher absorption rate than oil-based formulas. The 250 mg bottle contains 8.3 mg of CBD per serving, a good starting dose for beginners that can be easily doubled or tripled. You can use Big Sky’s Hydro formula as a traditional tincture, or by adding to drinks or food.
The extracts used in some of our products are further processed into nanoemulsions. This process breaks up the hemp oil droplets and emulsifies them to keep them stable in this state.
The result is a product that disperses throughout water and offers a higher bioavailability. These products require lower doses thanks to higher absorption into the bloodstream due to the larger surface area. – bigskybotanicals.com
CBD Softgels
Another nanoemulsified water-soluble product! Big Sky Botanical’s softgels are easy to consume and highly effective for me. Each capsule contains 25 mg of CBD and terpenes, and the water-soluble formula can be up to 5 times more effective than traditional oil-based capsules. These are some of my favorite CBD softgels and can be easily taken for daily CBD supplementation.
CBD Gummies
Big Sky Botanica’s CBD gummies are made from all-natural ingredients and contain 10 mg of their cannabinoid and terpene-rich hemp extract. Gummies come in an assortment of yummy flavors like grape, orange, and lemon. They’re easy to take and have only a small hint of a hemp taste. I like the smooth and firm texture of these, and that they are not coated in sugar. All in all, a simple and great-tasting CBD gummy perfect for fast and easy CBD intake.
CBD Balm
With an easy-to-use applicator stick, Big Sky’s broad spectrum CBD balm is highly recommended by this stoner mom! I absolutely love this formula! It smells so good, with eucalyptus and lavender, and it glides smoothly across the skin. This amazing balm can temporarily alleviate aches and soreness and provides effective support for skin conditions like eczema and dryness. We use a lot of CBD topicals in this house and Big Sky Botanicals is a favorite with its pleasant scent and easy-to-use applicator.
Big Sky Botanicals
Big Sky Botanicals offers unique products that are formulated for better absorption and set them apart from many other CBD brands. Their nanoemulsified softgels, in particular, are very effective for me and are a convenient intake method. I also really love and recommend their 1500 mg oil-based tincture, as well as their easy-to-apply CBD balm. With terpene-rich broad-spectrum CBD products and transparent third-party lab reporting, Big Sky Botanicals is a recommended source for quality CBD.
