The Elite II Vaporizer

In this video I use the new G Pen Elite II dry herb vaporizer for the first time, and wow did it impress me! The Elite II is G Pen’s updated version of their classic dry herb vaporizer, made in celebration of G Pen’s 10-year anniversary. I reviewed the original Elite back in 2016, and while it is still a fantastic vaporizer at a great price, the Elite II’s speed, efficiency, and ease of use really set it apart.

I had so much fun using this for the first time! The Elite II is so intuitive and easy to use, featuring an updated interface and full-color, high-resolution TFT display. It is also really, really fast, reaching your desired temperature within seconds. I set mine to 390º and found myself blowing visible clouds on its first pulls; very impressive for a dry herb vape!

The zirconia mouthpiece has an integrated spiral air path, delivering cooled vapor. Pop off the magnetic mouthpiece to reveal the generous-sized ceramic heating chamber. The Elite II has precise temperature control between 200º – 430ºF. My favorite feature is definitely the clean air intake which is essentially a built-in carb molded directly into the device. It is perfectly positioned at the hand’s thumb-grip so the user can effortlessly control airflow.

The Stoner Mom is a pulled-together, WAHM, SAHM, boo-boo kissing supermom. Most would assume she is not stoned. Most would be quite wrong.

    Hi Katherine!

I used to work as an Optician and have a bit of knowledge and recommendations for you to help with the headaches. Based just on your mention of your prescription of -10.5, I’m glad to hear that you mostly wear your glasses as opposed to contacts. While contacts can be made for higher prescriptions, I usually do not recommend frequent use to patients, especially those complaining of headaches, due to the complexity needed in their lenses to correct their vision. Contacts can correct a majority of the vision needs, but not all, which is why switching back in forth between contacts and glasses may be causing you headaches. Although the difference in correction is small, those with increased vision impairment are more sensitive to the corrections in their prescriptions. The best correction of a vision of this high prescription is through High Resolution Glass, which I would recommend ordering through a licensed Optometrist who has access to production facilities that are equipped for crafting medical grade lenses of high prescriptions. Another recommendation I have would be to order a pair of prescription glasses. As a glasses wearer myself who has also tried contacts, ordering a pair of prescription lenses was the best investment I ever made! Most insurances, especially with a prescription of your type, has an allowance each year for lenses and frames that can actually make this quite affordable. Also, do you have astigmatism or progressive lenses? Progressive lenses are tricky because your prescription needs to sit correctly on the pupil based on the shape and size of the lens, which is best done through an Optician who can take your measurements to ensure proper alignment. A small adjustment in the lens placement for your progressive, may be all you need to ease your headaches. Just a few thoughts I thought I’d share from my experience working at a Eye Doctor’s Office, hope it is of some help!
