It’s week 4 of What’s Going on in Dave’s Grow? and this week we do something special. We defoliate our plants! Get your trimmers sharpened and let’s cut off some leaves. Defoliating your plants happens right when you are flipping your plant’s grow cycle from vegetative to flowering.

But why do it? Basically, to allow light to penetrate the bud sites all over the plant.  The amazing part is, your leaves pretty much all grow back and fast! Add the Phytomax 2 Black Dog LED in to the mix and you will see phenomenal growth. These LED lights already do an amazing job at penetrating your plant’s canopy, defoliation just makes everything bigger faster.

And hey, we will do it all over again in about 2.5 weeks!
